Once again, one of my short put positions was assigned before expiration. I received 100 shares of XOM (Exxon-Mobil) at $86.50 per share. Although I have other holdings in that sector, XOM is a quality company which I have no problem owning. I will sell calls against it to generate additional income.
I have decided to place fewer trades during the months of July an August. I plan to relax and enjoy the remainder of the summer.

Hi Shelly, I usually sell weekly options on Friday seven days before expiration. I will be leaving for vacation next month and hope to blog when I get back. Thanks for your comments.
