June Account Activity

The month of June went by quickly. I haven't placed trades due to boredom as I often had in the past. This summer is very busy with home improvements, shift work, and social activities. I canceled my internet and cable until October. I have been trading from my iPhone, and utilizing the television and computers available at my workplace.

My three July Crescent Point Energy CPG calls were assigned early. As a result, I was obligated to sell the 300 remaining CPG shares held in my retirement account before their ex dividend date. Rather than buying CPG back at a higher price, I purchased 300 shares of Suncor Energy SU at $44.93 and sold July $46 calls. The advantage of trading in a retirement account is there is not tax reporting. tracking, or spreadsheets required.
