Expired Options - August 2013

I had 15 positions with an August expiration date (1 call and 14 puts). 11 expired worthless, I closed 3, and rolled 1.

I closed XOM calls for a profit of $12.51; CNR puts for a profit of $262.53; and EMA puts for a loss of $109.98.

When I have a loss, I try to make a gain to offset it; therefore, I sold Sept EMA $32 puts for $265.01. Eventually I hope to own shares of Emera Inc for a long-term hold.

Listed below are my August option positions. Premiums are the amounts of money I received after commissions. I did not list a profit total because I include my option premium totals in my blog entries disclosing my monthly income.
